Our company's light steel keels have been exported in bulk to Turkmenistan, contributing to the infrastructure upgrade in Central Asia
Turkmenistan, as one of the countries with the fastest infrastructure growth in Central Asia, saw a 15% year-on-year increase in the import of building materials in 2024, among which the demand for prefabricated building materials such as light steel keels was particularly strong. The country has strict requirements for the quality of building materials. The Turkmenistan State Standard (TDS) 456 standard and MSP certification are the core thresholds for product access. The products exported by HAOFA International Trade Company this time have passed all the tests including the -40℃ low-temperature impact test and the precise detection of the thickness of the galvanized layer, and have successfully obtained the MSP certification, becoming one of the few Chinese building materials suppliers in the local area that meet the localized technical standards.
The key to the product being able to pass the certification quickly and be put into use lies in the fact that we have conducted specialized research and development for the high-salinity and high-alkali geological conditions and extreme climate in Central Asia. The director of the international trade department of the company stated that the product not only complies with the EU standard EN 14195:2014, but also optimizes the anti-corrosion coating process, and the chloride ion tolerance is much higher than the local requirements. It is understood that this batch of light steel keels will be used in the affordable housing project in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, and is expected to meet the ceiling and partition wall construction needs of 500 residential units.
Ms. Maksimova, the international trade advisor of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan (CCI), pointed out: "The market share of China National Building Materials in Central Asia has been continuously increasing. Only 40% of the light steel keels in Kazakhstan come from China." The entry of HAOFA International Trade offers us a new option that is both cost-effective and compliant, which will accelerate the promotion process of prefabricated buildings in the local area.
Relying on the ISO 9001 quality system and self-operated import and export qualifications, HAOFA International Trade has established a full-chain export capability covering R&D, production and certification. Before this export, the technical team specially completed the compilation of the Russian bilingual technical specification and the embassy document certification and other processes, fully meeting the MSP certification requirements. At present, the company has reached long-term cooperation intentions with two construction groups in Turkmenistan. Subsequently, it will supply customized light steel keel accessories according to local demands.
As the infrastructure construction boom in the five Central Asian countries continues to heat up, HAOFA International Trade will take this export as an opportunity to set up a regional warehousing center in Central Asia. It plans to achieve regular supply to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries by 2026, and continuously export the technological and quality advantages of Chinese building materials.
